Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026. Short, plain English, no dark patterns.
1. What we collect
Account: your email, name, and password (stored hashed). Partner details you choose to enter: her name, important dates, and her tastes. Messages you compose. Optional voice notes (audio only). An Expo push token if you grant notifications. Stripe or Google Play customer ID and subscription status if you subscribe to Pingher+.
2. Why we collect it
To generate the AI suggestions you ask for, to send the reminders you opt into, to manage your subscription, and to keep your data on the device you signed in from. We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party ad networks inside Pingher.
3. AI processing
When you generate a suggestion or a Tonight idea, the prompt (and the partner details you've recorded) is sent to our LLM provider (Anthropic via Emergent's gateway). The provider's privacy terms apply to that request. No content is used to train models. Outputs are stored only if you save the message yourself.
4. Payments
Card details never reach Pingher servers. All payment fields are entered on Stripe's PCI-DSS Level 1 hosted checkout page or processed by Google Play Billing / Apple's StoreKit. We store only the customer and subscription identifiers and the current subscription state.
5. Affiliate links
Booking.com, OpenTable, Goldbelly, Bookshop.org, and UrbanStems links may carry an affiliate identifier so that Pingher receives a small commission if you purchase. You are never charged more. We disclose this in-product.
6. Your rights
You can request a full export of your data by emailing privacy@pingher.app. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
7. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Push send logs are retained for 30 days for delivery diagnostics. Webhooks from Stripe / RevenueCat are retained for 12 months for billing audit.
8. Children
Pingher is for adults in committed relationships. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
